Why We Like What We Like

The Atlantic takes a close look at why we like what we like  and what makes us human.   Their video features Paul Bloom who uses essentialism to explain the mysteries of the pleasures of everyday life.

“If you look through a psychology textbook you will find little or nothing about sports, art, music, drama, literature, play and religion.  These are central to what makes us human, and we don’t understand any of them until we understand pleasure.”
