Q. I am extremely interested in the topic of deception detection and the show “Lie to Me”. What subject should I study in school and what field should I go into?

A. Unfortunately, Lie to Me is a television drama and there is no real career of  “human lie detector”. However, most researchers in this field of facial expressions study some area of psychology, either cultural, behavioral or social. They continue to conduct research in these areas, as well as study topics related to deception detection. You can also learn the scientifically concealed signs of hidden emotion such as micro and subtle expressions by taking our MiX microexpression training or SubX subtle expression training.

Q. Is MiX right for me?

A. MiX microexpression training is useful to anyone who deals with people on a face to face basis- virtually everyone. The training will help you become accustomed to seeing micro-facial expressions, or microexpressions. Our training has been scientifically proven to improve your ability to detect microexpressions in as little as an hour.

Q. How long will I be able to access the training?

A. Currently, once you purchase the product, you will have unlimited access to the training, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Q. Is the training available on CD?

A. Unfortunately, at this time all of our trainings are exclusively online.

Q. When will I receive my product key after I purchase the online training?

A. Immediately after purchasing the product, you should receive an email confirmation of your purchase as well as an email containing your license key and how to activate the training through our training website.

Q. I purchased my training, got my receipt, but did not receive an email with the license key. What happened?

A. Unfortunately, our emails are sometimes blocked as spam and do not reach your inbox. Please check your spam box. If the email is not there, contact us and we will send you the key immediately.

Q. Can I share my product key with others?

A. Humintell strictly prohibits the use of sharing your product key with other people.

Q. The training does not fit on my page. What should I do?

A. Please make sure you are using the latest version of Firefox or Internet Explorer. If upgrading your browser does not work, try adjusting the screen resolution to 1280×768, which is the default setting for the training. If you continue to have problems, please contact us.

Q. I’ve completed my training and scored at least 80% at 200msec. How do I receive my certificate?

A. To receive your certificate, log back into the training page and go to your Humintell Online Training. Under the course name, you will see a link named “Get Certificate” next to “Click to Access Your Course”. Click on “Get Certificate” to receive your certification in PDF format.
